Sending Email Campaigns

Send your email campaigns to all contacts or specific segments.

Before Sending

Make sure you have:

  • Completed email design
  • Set subject line and preview text
  • Configured from name
  • Added required content blocks

Sending Options

Send Now

Emails are sent immediately to all recipients.

Schedule for Later

Choose a specific date and time to send emails automatically.

Choosing Recipients

All Contacts

Send to everyone in your Master List (excluding unsubscribed contacts).

Specific Segment

Select a saved segment to target specific contacts.

Unsubscribed contacts are automatically excluded from all campaigns.

Send Dialog

When you click Send Email:

1. Select Recipients

Choose:

  • All contacts (default)
  • Specific segment from dropdown

Contact count shows how many people will receive the email.

2. Choose Timing

Send Now:

  • Emails send immediately
  • Cannot be cancelled once sent

Schedule:

  • Select date and time
  • Can be cancelled before scheduled time
  • Appears in scheduled emails list

3. Test Email (Optional)

Send a test email to yourself before sending to contacts:

  1. Enter your email address
  2. Click Send Test
  3. Check your inbox
  4. Verify content, links, and formatting

4. Send

Click Send Now or Schedule to confirm.

After Sending

View Sent Emails

Go to your organization dashboard to see:

  • All sent campaigns
  • Send date and time
  • Recipient count
  • Email statistics (opens, clicks)

Scheduled Emails

Scheduled campaigns appear in your email list with:

  • Scheduled date and time
  • Option to unschedule (cancel)

To cancel a scheduled email:

  1. Find the email in your list
  2. Click Unschedule
  3. Confirm cancellation

Email Statistics

After sending, track:

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Bounce rate
  • Unsubscribe rate

View detailed stats on the email details page.

Best Practices

  • Always send a test email first
  • Review preview before sending
  • Double-check recipient selection (all vs segment)
  • Verify all links work
  • Check subject line and preview text
  • Schedule during optimal send times

Troubleshooting

Send Button Disabled

Check:

  • Subject line is filled in
  • Email has content
  • From name is set
  • Valid recipients selected

No Recipients Found

  • Ensure your Master List has contacts
  • Check segment has contacts if using segment filter
  • Verify contacts are not all unsubscribed

Test Email Not Received

  • Check spam folder
  • Verify email address is correct
  • Wait a few minutes (may be delayed)
